SECURITY MANAGEMENT & HSPD-12

Artex Group delivers comprehensive Security Management services that ensure the integrity of federal personnel vetting, facility access, and identity credentialing. Our team supports agencies in protecting assets, systems, and individuals through efficient clearance processes and strict compliance with federal standards. We specialize in HSPD-12 implementation and credential adjudication, helping our clients reduce identity fraud, safeguard privacy, and enhance physical and digital security.

In alignment with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), Artex helps federal agencies issue secure and reliable Common Access Cards (CACs) only to individuals who meet the required eligibility, background, and identity verification criteria. We ensure CAC issuance is compliant with DoD and federal mandates, and limited to those who do not pose risk to personnel, information, or infrastructure.

Artex’s HSPD-12 and credentialing specialists support clients with:

  • Conducting identity verification, affiliation validation, and background vetting to support CAC issuance

  • Performing sponsorship duties, correcting records, and coordinating with agency help desks and support systems

  • Managing PIV card lifecycle actions such as enrollment, activation, reissuance (lost, damaged, or updated), and termination processing

  • Conducting database inquiries across JSTARS, PIPS, DICAM, and other federal systems to verify applicant status

  • Processing sub-agency transfer requests and coordinating adjudications for background investigations and waiver requests

  • Recommending appropriate role assignments based on verified training completion and access requirements
